The Friends of Mary's Peak
Citizen Stewardship in Action
Friends of Mary's Peak is a non-profit grassroots
organization of people concerned about the long-term and short-term planning
and management of Mary's Peak. Our long-term goals are to protect
the ecological integrity of the peak and to bring vision, responsibility
and cooperation to the management of the peak. The members of FMP consider
Mary's Peak to be a local natural resource, a valuable watershed for Willamette
Valley and Coast Range Communities, an historically unique part of
Western Oregon and a place of great beauty, spiritual solitude and recreation.
